Since 2021, the Liliane Fund and various fellow development organisations, with Wemos as lead, have joined forces. We work together within the Make Way Consortium, a forerunner in operationalizing the concept of intersectionality in sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR). Over the next years, we will mobilize a critical mass of civil society as successful intersectional SRHR advocates in Ethiopia, Kenya, Rwanda, Uganda and Zambia, the (East) African region and at the global level. The Liliane Fund coordinates the programme in Rwanda. In our program, we share innovative practices in intersectional SRHR advocacy, strengthen the advocacy capacity of civil society organizations (CSOs), and implement effective intersectional SRHR lobbying & advocacy at various levels.

As an advisor in the Make Way Consortium, you are responsible for, on the one hand, concretely shaping the positioning and active Advocacy of the Liliane Fund in the field of disability at regional and global level and, on the other hand, giving substance to the contribution of the Liliane Fund in the field of SRHR within the Make Way Consortium.

  • As an SRHR advisor, you will be part of the Inclusive Development team within the International Partnerships & Programmes department. You will receive hierarchical guidance from the team manager, to whom you also report. You will work closely with other colleagues who are committed to this programme.

Who are you?

You give direction in an inspiring way and stimulate mutual cooperation. You are decisive, enthusiastic and result-oriented. You see opportunities rather than obstacles and know how to translate them into concrete activities.
