What will you do?
As an Events and Communication Intern, you contribute to Liliane Fonds’ and Share-Net Netherlands’ ambition to connect different stakeholders to our work. Through your work, you will make an impact on the visibility of Share-Net Netherlands and allow professionals working on sexual and reproductive health and rights, students and policy makers to collaborate and network. Based on your interest, you will have the opportunity to attend different (online) events organised by Share-Net Netherlands and Liliane Fonds.
Who are you and what do you bring?
- We are looking for someone who has knowledge of the different steps and facets of event organisation, as this will be the main task. This can either be through a study such as event management, communications or through experience at previous side jobs.
- You work independently on tasks given, you are able to structure your own work and prioritise.
- As you will be working with diverse stakeholders from INGOs to policy makers, cultural sensitive and good communication skills are important.
- You have an interest in and experience with social media, like Instagram and LinkedIn. WordPress is a plus.

Interested?
If you recognise yourself in this profile, we would like to receive your application and curriculum vitae no later than July 31. Instead of a motivation letter, we ask you to answer the following questions (maximum 1500 words per answer):
- Provide an example on how you would organised an event and/or activity for others (e.g. stakeholders, other students) this can be based on previous experience but that is not necessary. What is the activity or event, what steps would you take to organise this and how did the event go? What would you do differently if you were organising this again? If it was not yet inclusive for people with a disability, how would you now go about making it more inclusive?
- If you were to design a social media campaign on sexual rights, how would you go about this? Think about the target audience of Share-Net Netherlands (a blend of professionals working for NGOs in Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights, academics and interested individuals) and how would you tailor the content to meet their needs.
- Why does an internship at the Liliane Foundation appeal to you?
